Our Name

The name "ATHANASIA" reflects two important inspirations for our founder (Athanasius + Asia).

  • ATHANASIUS of Alexandria was a 4th century leader and scholar known for his strong beliefs in truth and identity. He was well-educated, spoke several languages, and actively engaged in the complex cultural discussions of his day. He's best remembered for opposing ideas that challenged the distinctiveness of both divine and human identities. His work highlighted the beautiful balance between uniqueness and unity, a message that remains relevant today.

  • ASIA: The updated ending ASIA symbolizes Greg's Asian American identity and emphasizes the significance of all distinct heritages, identities, and narratives. It embodies the aspiration of being empowered and whole, regardless of our. background. Whatever your story, we are excited to assist you in finding ways to make a meaningful impact.
